We are a continental network of women leaders, academics, and innovators committed to advancing gender equity, digital inclusion, and violence prevention in higher education.
The Higher Women’s Consortium (HWC), founded in 2015 and headquartered in Yaoundé, Cameroon, is a nonprofit network dedicated to advancing women’s leadership in health research, higher education, and social innovation.
Through mentoring, capacity-building workshops, research proposal design, project management, and team building, we empower women scientists and professionals to thrive in their careers.

A safe space to speak, a place to take action
EVA is a secure and confidential digital platform dedicated to reporting violence against women and girls. Designed as a space of trust, EVA allows survivors and witnesses to speak freely, be heard, protected, and guided toward concrete solutions.
Led by the Higher Women Consortium, EVA aims to break the silence surrounding gender-based violence by offering holistic support from safe disclosure to connection with legal, medical, psychological, and social services. Through prevention, awareness, and empowerment, EVA works toward a more just society where women's voices are respected and violence is actively addressed.
